We welcome you to experience our beautiful showroom in the heart of downtown Fargo—full of inspiring design, beautiful jewelry, and endless ideas to customize your collection. Alternatively, we also offer virtual collaboration. You will be met with attentive service, individualized assistance, and top-tier quality. We can create your custom design with either our CAD team or one of the many talented luxury and artisan jewelers Salt Hill represents, depending upon your individual design preferences—the options are seemingly endless!

Step 1: Complimentary Consultation

We begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your initial vision for your custom jewelry project, priority design elements, and desired investment range.

Most pieces of custom jewelry are complete 4-6 weeks after design approval, though sometimes the turnaround time is shorter or longer. If you have an important date that requires earlier completion, please do notify us. We love to make magic happen!

Upon your decision to move forward with the custom process,  a nonrefundable $250 deposit will be collected. This amount is applied to the cost of your final completed piece.

Step 2: Design Direction and Decision-Making

In this step of the process, we get to the exciting parts of jewelry design!

This includes selection of diamonds (we work with both natural and lab diamonds) or colored gemstones, type of precious metal, and design elements. Further, we will guide you in incorporating the fine details that come together to create a unique, thoughtfully designed, and structurally crafted piece of fine jewelry‚—made to last a lifetime and beyond.

Please allow 5-7 business days for our staff to review your project in full and to provide an estimate.

Step 3: Design Approval

The design is confirmed and ready to come to life!

We will together approve the final details and design, and also make any necessary modifications. We will review any relevant renderings, dependent upon the project. Upon approval, a non-refundable 70% of the total price of your custom jewelry piece will be collected. This secures your place in our customs calendar and moves your design into production. The remaining 30% will be due at the time of completion. 

Step 4: Jewelry Creation

Your custom piece officially goes into production! Your carefully selected materials come together to create your dream piece of jewelry.

We work with a team of expert metalsmiths, stone setters, and artisans to ensure your piece is meticulously crafted and meets our rigorous standards. 

Once your piece is complete, it undergoes detailed inspection, is thoughtfully packaged, and a record of purchase is provided. We then welcome you in to collect your new work of art, or we can securely ship your piece to you.
